While this is a quick flow for Directed Research writing that I got from Br. Rasidan, a final year student of 2021. Hope this helps.

1) Get approval research title from Supervisor. Once approved, start your writing.

Chapter 1
1) Write background and research problem statement
2) Write RQ and RO
3) Write an operational definition

Chapter 2
1) Do a literature review of the variables involved

1) Check validity instrument
2) Do a pilot study
3) Check instruments' reliability

Chapter 4
1) Analyze data

Chapter 5
1) Make a discussion based on what you have found in chapter 4.
