Assalamualaikum w.b.t and Greetings.

Welcome, everyone! I am Khairunnisa Mohamad Khairi, a postgraduate student, Master of Education in Instructional Technology. I created this website mainly for master's degree students of Kulliyyah of Education, International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM). This website is a project for the course EDT 7401 Management and Evaluation in Instructional Technology.

According to Kulliyyah of Education Postgraduate Studies Handbook by PG, KOED 11th Version (2019), all Master's students who opted for coursework without a Thesis are compulsory to complete Directed Research writing as a requirement for graduation along with other credited and non-credited courses. 

According to the PG, KOED (2019), the project will be approximately 6000 words or about 30 pages. It can be a quantitative, qualitative, or analytical study. Unlike the Thesis, the project paper will be limited in scope. It will be the outcome of the Directed Research EDU 7993 and should be of acceptable academic standard. 

In addition, this course requires satisfactory completion of the Research Methodology EDU 7001, Educational Measurement and Statistics EDU 7003, the other core courses, and the entire specialized courses (PG, KOED, 2019). Students, however, may register for the Directed Research writing in the semester they are taking elective courses.

Thus, this website becomes a platform for information related to Directed Research writing. The objective of this website is to help masters' students to search for resources and refer for their project writing.

Hopefully that this website will be a beneficial web resource for them to complete their Directed Research with excellent grades.
